From what i've heard females usually dont present the intense coloration (especially the blue) that the males do, and have a more rounded dorsal fin. I would have to say you probably have 2 males. In the first photo, it looks like a hump is beginning to form on the head, which is usually indicative of a male (but not always). Does that help any?
 
Both males. The less shiny male is the subdominant. I will assume that if you placed the less shiny male in another tank and allow him to bully others or introduce a female, he would color up just like the shiny male.

If I put him back into the 90 gal afterwards will he lose his color again?
 
I've been trying to get good photos, but the camera focuses on the glass so they turn out blurry, i took a vid though so here it is

i just added the gravel and decorations on friday 3/12 let me know what you think. any feedback at all will be helpful and greatly appreciated.
