Green Terror Spitting Out Food

Why does your fish not like NLS? hmmm I am using NLS from when my fish are like 1.5 inches... they are around2 inches now.. oscars and silver dolars... I have one 8-10cm Green Terror male with them, he loves them too.. :P
 
Not really sure. They are all young fish and I feed them a combo of NLS and hikari gold. The NLS sinks and is gobbled up by the clown knife and the catfish, but the cichlids won't touch it.

I don't have NLS around where I live. Soaking the food with the garlic overnight and gonna see if he will actually eat some tomorrow. Thanks for all the info. Keep it coming and I'll keep ya posted on what happens tomorrow.
 
Still not interested in food. Didn't even try to eat any of what was dropped in the tank this morning. Not sure what else to try other than garlic juice directly into the water I've heard.
 
I tried the garlic xtreme directly into the water yesterday also. No change in appetite yet. Just got done feeding and same result...took in food and a couple chews and out it went. My Jags and Oscar actually took in the garlic soaked food though so that's a plus. Just need to get my trimac to keep it down.

Also, if you're having trouble with your cichlids accepting NLS, simply stop offering them the food that they currently do eat for 3-4 days. They will not starve nor be negatively impacted from this. NLS is a great product.
