I understand your connection to the stones that you gathered. I did the same thing with my tank. Some stones I collected were from one of my favorite places to go camping in upstate New York. And others near my grandmothers house when I was younger. I used them to build caves. Your tank looks awesome!!!
I have a recommendation since you have used them as your substrate. When you do a gravel vac just use the 1/2 hose to stick into the crevasses of the rock as best you can because substrates like this are usually fine for several months but then you start seeing a nitrate level that can’t be managed and it’s due to so much waste hiding in those rocks. With that much stone weight did you support the glass in any special way?
