green terror x jack dempsey

not to sure where to post this one...
i went to the lfs to pick up my itty bitty jack Dempsey. and was looking around and i noticed a small 10 gallon with a 6in cichlid i looked closely and saw it had the mouth of a parrot fish. but it it also had blue coloring and some green terror coloring. :wtf: so i stared at it foir about 4 min and was thing "do i buy it or walk away?" them the manger came up and said " so what do you think of your green terror x HRP" i just looked at him and like :wtf: he said it was 99cents because its a hybrid and no one buys hybrids. so my question is... is it possible for a green terror to breed with a Jack Dempsey?

I'm not sure what it is. HRP is hondurian red point, not Jack Dempsey. Green terrors are Aequidens rivulatus while JD's are Cichlasoma octofasciatum so i'm not sure if they can even interbreed (really not sure on it).

yeah good point never heard of the hybrid myself green terror X blood parrot might be possible but parrot X flowerhorn is most likely what you saw

I don't understand the fasination with hybrid garbage fish that are deformed.
At least Flowerhorns look like fish.
