green terror

most Aequidens spp. are pretty mild for cichlids. should get along fine w/ your bichir and should last a long time, if not for life, in a 55g. Of course, as other have said, some can be aggressive.

I don't have any experience w/ true green terrors, but you're probably talking about gold saums anyway

yeah the common ones in the petstore, they where labled under gold saums the same ones as the picture posted on the first page.

male GT's have a larger hump and more pointed fins? , I want to make sure I get a male because they grow a bit bigger, no offense to the female GT"s!!

I just went out and got the largest male terror I could find but he's only about 2 inches and the bichirs 4 my GT's just exploring and looking around , but my birchis seems to be paranoid , I switched up the driftwood and rocks so they could re-establish territories
