got any better pix? how big is it? It seems to have male characteristics with the exception of the fin-trailers

EDIT: in the previous post I said "stripes" (stripes go horizontal) while they go vertical on a GT so they'd be classified as "bars" ....."bands" would wrap around them vertically as opposed to stripes which stop short of the tops and bottoms of the fish

Bands = connected (Convict, Frontosa)
Bars = interrupted (Red Terror/False Red Terror, Midas)

Unfortunately not better, but this one you can see its face a bit better. I'd say between 3-4inches

i'm going to say female, but your best bet is make your own thread just for the GT and keep posting pictures every month as growth continues and as it gets older the sexual dimorphism will become more apparent

Thanks for the help. it doesnt really matter to me which sex it is, I was just curious since the topic came up
