I've had a lot of people say green terrors and red terrors are the same, but than again it is all about the fish. I love my green terrors i think they have better color and etc. however he is like a dog and is about 2.5-3 inches. Does anyone have any pics of green terros more than 5 inches...i know they acn get up to 8 inches plus. I have my green terror with an oscar i love him, he is da bomb...anyone have any stores of theres. My green terror has a scar on his forhead, the only thing i can think of his from him bashign things, because he just got it.

Heres my male GT "Dozy".He's nearly 7 yrs old and a good 8-10" depending if you include the tail or not

there's a 'mov of my male green terror, he's about... 6inches without tail. he does ok in my tank, has the odd scrap with my oscar now and again. the femal is a wimp! just runs away from everyone, including the male.

they need moving over into a 150, but i have yet to buy that :S

nice GT's everyone.
Nice fish! What size is that tank? Looks like a pretty female GT too! Did you raise these fish together? Heard lots of horror stories with oscars and terrors together.

wow is this fish gorgeous, what a prize and then being a good breeder too..wow you are lucky!!

they've been raised since they were a pair of grey 2inchers. with the oscar from when he was about 6inches roughly.
the male fights the oscar a little when they get broody, but most of the time the GT follows the oscar around waiting for food.
tank is only a 45gal i think, i didnt realise i had GT's (acara mixup) and all my cats are going to be huge.. and my oscar :S so yeah 150gal please!

but never had any problems with any of my fish fighting at all, i lost a gren tench (about 8inches) last year after he got spooked and scraped almost all his scales/skin off then got infected/slimy.

but no probs with fighting or anything really, i find GT's to be fairly tame until they get about 6inch mark when they become sexually mature.
dont think mine has any chance fighting off my oscar really! but no overly violent behaviour from either yet!

I got him when he was 3 inches about 8 months ago. I have him in a 210 gallon tank.

BTW, red terrors definately have more color. I'm not saying they are better, but they are waaaay more colorful.

No way. Green terros have better color orange green purple just better colors.. attiude ive heard red can be worst....

With oscars and green terrors ive never heard any horror stories...i got my gt when my oscar was about 6 inch...they just hang out together and run the tank...
