Quality male GT's like this are a pleasure to see. Unfortunately, it's getting harder and harder to find quality-bred specimens. Most LFS GT's exhibit weak color and thin/faded orange bands.

Very proud as bred him myself, had his parents which now have passed away, so he's a credit to me I love his colours, he breeds like buggery though lol

All the gts in my LFS are faded too, think it's just a weaker strain perhaps?

Strong olors come a lot from genetics but also dominance in the tank and of course a good diet. IME nightcrwalers brought out the best colors in my gts.
