Straight up Guttatus IMO. Mine used to have a red tinge on the dorsal like this guy, but that eventually faded. NOT a carpinitis, and not a hybrid IMO.

I agree and I agree... My carpintis statement was a carry-over from another post i.e. brain fart.
Why is every @#$% fish that gets posted on this website a hybrid? Is it just because it's the easiest statement to make and the one that doesn't have to be defended? Not every bloody fish is a hybrid... You also can't claim a fish is a hybrid based solely on its color pattern.

Guttatum looks right to me.
I say blue texas 100% not a hybrid the green texas has bigger solid green spots and less of them compaired to your blue texas which has many smaller blue spots the little bit of red on the dorsal is just regular buisness imo here's a pic of my blue texas just like yours.
