I've never owned a snake and never had any desire too. A few years ago I saw a GTP in the local pet store and I thought it was awesome. A green snake is pretty cool. It was the only one I actually thought "I kind of want a snake."
However, there is no way a snake is crossing the threshold of my home if my wife has anything to do with it. I'm allowed fish and maybe a lizard.
