Are there any species/morphs that keep their noenate color or do not turn green ? Keeping their yellow or red color for life.

im not sure. id go on www.snakebytestv.ning.com and ask brian hell definitley know. hes the owner of one of the largest breeding facilities in the world and i know he works with greens, hell give you a good deal on one too

Thanks just posted in their forum hopefully someone there can help me

I like the GTPs but they are just a little out of my price range. I compare them to having a fish tank. Look but do not touch. If you end up getting one post some pics.

The Canary Island Chondors tend to stay yellowish/mustard yellow, but some have turned completly green after years of being yellow. Now as far as a dark/maroon coloration, maybe a "MITE" phase chondro but yoru talkin about a $4000 chondro, and you cant be guranteed it stay dark.

Not really there are the Kofiau and Waigeo island types but not really sure if they will definately stay the highlighter yellow they are known for definately. Some say they will others say they don't and I don't have enough money to see for myself lol. There are morphs though, high yellows and mustards. I know theurbanchondro.com had some stunning snakes.

I think what you are talking about though is ontogenic colour change and in the wild is reported to take place roughly when the snake is between 53-59cm in length and around one year old (according to one study and it only includes the yellow phases snakes, not the red) and the process is very rapid. However in captivity this isn't the case and can change anywhere between 6 months and onward into a number of years. Either way, it's something that happens and isn't something that is permanent.
