raise the temp a few degrees and add some extra aquarium salt and continue you water changes doing one of about 35 percent every other day and gradually decrease the amount of water you are changing as the water starts clearing up you should only have to do this for a week or two and you water should clear and you will get rid of any trace of the algae

Usually my water temp runs from 79 to 82 degrees. Today I added up some aquarium salt which said I should add 1 Tablespoon per 5 U.S. Gal. I put 4 table spoons in for my 30 gal tank. I thought my cycle was finished after 3 days. I never realized it will take up to 2 weeks or more. Thank you so much guys for the information and if there is more information to suggested please let me know! Day 1 at this forum has been a super super great help! :headbang2

Thank you for letting me know about this. I was searching online and saw them for around $119.00, I guess those were for larger amounts of water. I'll let my tank finish cycling and if green water does not disappear I will buy that product for sure.
