under a bridge in fl
i have,
a 150g pond,made of wood,w/d filter on it.
and 2 half barrels "25g each im guessing" with a half barrel for the w/d.
the pond and barrels are side by side.
my pond has no green water at all.
the barrels,i cant even see the bottom.
whats the deal with that?
the barrels have more filtration then the pond to.
in the pic the barrels are pre green water. :)
thanks in advance.

See those plants in your pond? That is why it isn't happening in the pond. I agree with the above post that you should cover it up and when the algea bloom is gone throw in some plants and hope for the best. Also algea blooms often happen with newly established tanks so that could be another cause. But for sure add plants and that should atleast help. BTW anymore pics of the pond? Looks nice.

Midnight, you have a nice looking pond, but stick to goldfish! If you want to build a bigger pond next to that one and tie them in together, you can get koi, but wait until then!

but 4 days of total darkness should fix it.
is that ok for fish to or no?lol

Looks nice man, Try a uv on your pump helps alot i hear.

Yea, they are awesome! Just make sure you run it inline with the filter, otherwise it will get junked up really quickly. If you can't do that, run a small pump in a plastic box surrounded by filter media so that it protects the quartz sleeve from lots of stuff. I am sorry if I am annoying you, but you never seemed to listen to what I had to say.

Hmm, Idk to tell you the truth our pond is like this to. I guess sence thats where all the media is that over time the algee would be more likely to build up in there rather than in the pond.

What is the flow going through them? It may be getting stagnant in there. Add a power head to each thing and it will keep the water stirred up.
