green water?

my water is really green and cloudy, i think it might be an alge problem, how do i get rid of this?

well reduce light how ig is the tank if its small do a large water change. also if you have a cold water tank rasie the temp a tad . i had my bb dieing because i had cold water and it cuased greed water also very good mech filtration

my tank is about 120 gallons and i tried taking out lots of water... 2 days and approx. 150 gallons replaced... no difference.

Reduce food and light going into the tank.

feed a lot less. What are you stocking the tank with? Cut the food for 2 or 3 days, or at least severely reduce the amount

Lower temp a bit may help as well.

I had this problem on a ten gallon when i set it up and it went away in like 2 weeks. I still keep the tank by the window and haven't had it come back. Do some water changes and just wait and see before you do anything else.
