If its captive bred, try to give it to someone or take it to the LFS or something. I dont wanna worry you, but if you wanna keep it I think that if you know what you are doing you can take care of it right. Im only saying that they are filter feeders so its important they have sufficient food or they die. Got a pic of it at all?
no pics. gene's link said powdered food so if i cant get my hands on that ill put it back. i collected it from a man-made lake.

Really? i had 3 (clams) of them with no problem, only have one now...

Little baby crayfish thought it would be fun to pry them open and eat them :irked:
