Polypterus bichir bichir "Turkana"
Polypterus bichir sp. "Koliba"
Polypterus bichir sp. "Koloton"
Polypterus bichir lapradei "Nigeria"
Polypterus retropinnis
Polypterus palmas polli
Polypterus delhezi
Polypterus ornatipinnis
Polypterus weeksii
Polypterus mokelembembe
I think polypterus palmas polli you can get away with as they are commonly available in the Philippines and cheap too. Just hit Cartimar and you find plenty over there.
I recommend go for a polypterus palmas polli, polypterus delhezi and polypterus ornatipinnis as they are all commonly available in the Philippines and use black sand to bring out more of the green color.
Infblue;3833475; said:there are some P. bichir bichir from Turkana that are green, especially some of the captive bred juvies that have some of the greenest color. But for a species/variant as a whole, i don't think they're the #1 greenest bichirs since most aren't that green. e.g. mine from Chad is green, but you don't see Chad Pbb makes the list lol
species like sp. Koliba, palmas polli or retropinnis are the ones that show green color most consistently.
