Any news on the setup?
Your aquarium is almost exactly what I'd like to get someday, and I bookmarked Tenecor after seeing how beautiful that tank looked. It will be a few years before I live somewhere where I could house a beauty like you bought, but I love watching people put together amazing setups like that.
One question I had - when I went on Tenecor's website I couldn't find that size in any of their pricelists, am I just missing it somewhere, or did you custom order yours? I like that size, and would like looking at a similar acrylic one day (could never go that large in glass, I'd always freak out about it possibly breaking).

Sorry, I've been absolutely slammed with school for the past month. Add 40 hrs of work a week to that and there isn't much time for fish-keeping. Now that it's over, I've had time to focus on getting the tank up and running.
I repaired the wet/dry and it is running like a charm. I am still tweaking this setup to make it perfect in my eyes. I have been playing with the overflows to try and quiet them. I will most likely end up pulling them out and adding longer standpipes. The piping itself is quiet as can be, however, I feel that my standpipes are too short and this is resulting in a waterfall effect in the overflow (not unbearable but def. annoying.)
I am also finding it difficult to run anything into the tank (airlines, power cords, etc. My solution to this is going to be drilling a hole in the acrylic lid that covers my overflow and running the cords from the tank, in through the overflow and out through the lids.
The lighting seems to be working out quite well however, it does have a rather yellowish tint so I'm looking into replacing it soon.
As it stands now, this tank is running and almost completely cycled. It is full of gravel/plants but not aquascaped yet (need to get a buddy over to help get the canopy off).
This tank was custom ordered. There was a few snags along the way but I would definitely do business with Tenecor again. My only complaints are that I was told I would have 4 openings and ended up with one. This is a win/loss thing. I have room to get in if need be but the lid itself is at least 40 lbs. Also, I was told the tank would come pre-plumbed and I received it without any plumbing whatsoever. After a quick call to Tenecor I received the bulkheads and just made my own standpipes.
I am going to be redoing some trim work on the stand to account for a gap between the waterline and the canopy trim. Once this is done I will try to get up some pics!
