Found this dead bald eagle today while doing a little trout fishing. So I poked it with a stick. Had some massive talons.

I checked out the WDFW website to see if I could find anywhere to report a dead bald eagle, but couldn't find anything.

I sent off an email to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. We'll see what they have to say.

Poke it with a stick? Please Get a big frying pan, some haycorns, bit chunk of butter, some olives and some rocket, stick that bird on the pan with all the ingredients, wait 20 minutes and dinner is served

I would, but I have a natural curiosity for the natural world and know that I would never get close enough to a live eagle to investigate it like I could a dead one.
Neat find, didn't notice if it had any kind of band on it did you?
