Dragon Pecker and West1 are right.... It's not a lot of money for the fish, especially since it's just local pickup for me and with the gaurantee.... But when I buy fish it's never for just one (I'm weak on impulse and lack will power). I honestly just wanted to see a picture because I don't know the difference between the two fish and how else to validate which is what than to have fellow members do it for you.... Dragon Pecker is right, sell me a bala shark and tell me it's a GATF, I wouldn't know!

My God. This is the same grief Tom was getting when he recently got the datnoids. Then when they arrived ALL said how great they were and how happy they were. So many times on MFK I have seen sellers post a pic and said, looks just like this one. If you do not know what a GATF looks like go on line and look all the pics or you tube shows them moving around and eating. All of us who have bought fish from Tom know he is an honest seller and all around good guy. He gets these outrageously good deals and we take advantage of them if we can. Wait till everyone gets their GATFs and all those doubters will be kicking themselves in the butt for not getting some. Just my honest opinion

I can see both sides here guys. I dont see the trouble with asking for a pic on a fish commonly mis id'd. The differene for me has nothing to do with money, rather overall size. Asking for pics is not always a bad thing when ID could possibly be in question. That being said..... I would be all over this just on the chance that they were GATF. If not, turn around and sell them, no biggie.

So many times in the two months you've been on the forum Noob? Just because you've order a few datnoids form Tom makes you an expert and now you can swing from his inner pant leg like some other people/groupies do to other vendors and such? I've done more business with Tom than your hobby is worth there new guy so check your references before you start popping off about a picture request.

Tom has a great record for selling fish. I spoke to Tom on the phone and he says he knows his fish. Thank god he has a gaurantee cause I have never bought from him before. I hope they look like this.

I really can't wait till someone gets some of these in and starts posting pics. even if they aren't GATF the price is sweet not matter what variant of ATF they are.

If I didn't have other plans I would be all over a few of them myself.

You have some serious issues. I was giving an opinion. I am new to this forum but have kept fish for 40 years. Get as angry as you want and trash noobs, a great to show your "expertise" . I guess in your world only people who spend inordinate amount of money on the hobby have the right to voice any opinion. I see many experts help out on this forum.
