I didn't see this thread til now, haven't been on in so long. Amazing I'm only 5 days late though lol You probably have it settled by now but I'd leave my favorite in there with the females and take the other male out. They're really pretty GT's! Makes me miss mine so so bad. One of my cats leaped up on the tank and knocked the glass lid in and he jumped out. I didn't know about it until the next morning and he was long dead by then :-( I miss Billy Ray. They sure get meaner the bigger they get though. It got to the point I couldn't even keep him with any of my huge Oscars (still got em!!) because he beat them up. Your pics are making me want another one.......

those came from petco!? wow!

i agree with the above posts... personally i would keep the alpha male (i prefer the shape of his head and large nuchal hump, along with the longer fins and brighter colors) and remove the other males and any females he rejects. leave the pair alone once they've formed one! raising the fry... once they lay eggs, i tend to have the best luck by not doing any water changes untile they are eating regular foods! the parents should produce a extra slime coating to feed the babies... supplement with proper baby fish foods (baby brine, etc)

Good Luck!

Thanks Mitzi. I still haven't done anything just yet. My little bro now says he wants the male I choose to get rid of, but he's only got a 55g with other fish already in it. I don't know if he's ready for aggressive cichlids just yet.

Bummer about your GT, dang cats! I can't keep mine off the counter but he stays off my tanks. He hates water lol. Even the sound of it. :D

Thanks bud. Yeah, I'm defnitely keeping the alpha male. Great colors on him so far. I guess I'll take the other guy back to the pet store or give him to my bro. He still hasn't picked a female yet, so there is nothing I can do about that yet. Still waiting. :)
