Simply awesome can't wait for mine to get that big. He grew fast until he hit the 5.5 or 6 and seems like he/she just gave up on growing same with my JD.

Yeah, my big male shot up quick when he was younger but the other male I have is about 6".

I aim for 50% twice per week. I would do twice as many if I had the time but between work, school, kid, etc, I consider myself lucky when I do 2. When it comes to water changes I've learned to follow the Nike mantra and 'just do it'!
As for a Tigrinus, I'd love to own one some day but for now I'd trust a 2 ft aro with my cichlids over an 18" catfish any day.
