My six line grouper always chases my niger trigger that i got last week they are around the same size. Sometimes they fight, but the trigger looks good its eating alot. Can i leave them together or should i take one out. Worst comes to worst i would rid of the grouper i like the trigger better.

What trigger is it?

Is it possible for you to take the fish out, redecorate the tank, and put them back in?

No idea where the info is but your not finding anything because im guessing what you have is a sixline soapfish. Never heard of a sixline grouper. Is it black with white horizontal stripes? If so its the soapfish.
Its actually poisonous too so if the trigger toughens up one day and attacks it back it could wipe your tank out.

odonus niger or melichthys niger?

see also chrisdef's answer
