well ok so i have decided to keep my 125 up and running with no fish in it right now. im gona plant it and i just want the plant have time to root and grow before i put anything in there. so right now im haveing my 55 as a grow out tank i have a 8 inch del and a 9 inch albino sengals. i just want to know what else i can put in there as a grow out for the bigger tank? i was thinking something like a wild oscar around 3 inches or some other fish. they will be in the tank for a month or 2. i have 3 filters on it and is pushing atleast 900 gallons per hour and has a power head that i dont know what kind it is a gift from a friend.

so anything u think i should get that would work for a few months that could eventualy live in a 125?

I don't know that I would put an Oscar with Bichirs, or much of anything else for that matter. You could always put another Bichir in there though....

ok so i cant keep "true" gars where i live but i was thinking something like a snake skin gourami? they get about 10" max. or maybe some bala sharks? like 4 or 5? i was looking at choco cichlids or fire mouths. i like clown loaches 2 but idk wat would work the best and how many?

they arent agressive
I meant putting much of anything with the Oscar. They are aggressive.

oscars arnt aggressive i have had about 4 or 5..... they are kinda like pitbulls in a way..... they arnt all mean but they got great personality. it all depends on the fish. u can put them with other fish i have had many diff fish in with oscars i have had anthing from smaller size catfish to mean big cichlids. i had one in with like 10 giant danios that if he wanted to ceatch and eat them he could. they arnt mean nasty cichlids like some....

but back to the topic what fish could i use that tank to gorw them out that would eventualy live in a 125?
