Grow outs

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Whats your thoughts on the ansorgii ? He was wldoing this prior. Just dont like it when they take this long.

Did treat the tank with a round of pg, only the 1 48 hr dose bit that was when i first got them

Some of those baby endlicheri I got a month ago are still not eating.

I once purchased a batch or Lapradei and they took over a month to start eating regularly.

As long as there are no signs of illness I wouldn't worry.

When I have a stubborn water, I've tried not feeding the tank at all for a few days so they don't even smell food.

Then feed and let them get excited. But since you want them to grow fast I understand you may not want to lose a few days progress.

Have you tried soaking pellets in defrosted blood worms? Don't add the bloodworms to the tank, just the soaked pellets, see if that gets him going.

Cool with try the blood juice. Whats aggrivating is its with tilapia too. If it were just pellets i be semi ok with it. But with nothing going in im.not making any progress plus they went a whole bunch of days with out food whike i was dealing with some family stuff

Pretty sure the ansorgii ate...just looks a little fuller. Liking the brown base color allot.

Like the patterning on your Teug, too - like palmas banding almost. If it would stop swimming for a sec I could see it better. ;)

Head shape on the two is very different but yeah similar appearence.

Ansorgii devoured a heaping of night crawlers...maybe graduating soon.

Slender body and tail shape as well.
