growing out pbass

hey, I was wondering how long it would take to grow out a 2inch pbass to about 8 inchs? the species would most likely be mono. I saw alot of threads that said the grew "fast", but was just wondering how fast?

I would say with quality foods and water you could see a half inch to one full inch per month.

yea dude peacock bass grow faster if you have a big tank and feed often and have good water conditions.

Maybe with temensis but I doubt it with monos. You'd have to feed them 2-3 times a day on good foods like prawn white bait pellets and maybe quality feeders. Anyway what's the major rush. If you want cichla buy them and let them grow.

power feed and keep your water paramaters beyond perfect and you may see 1inch + a month growth, providing you have a big enough tank.. hope that helps

mines grew 1" a month power feeding them though drains the wallet a bit
