I actually have his sister who is a bit larger than him in my 240 but I have no desire to put them together again. I originally separated them because I was worried they might try to breed.
I might eventually try to breed him if I can find an unrelated female but probably not for a couple years at least.

You don't have any issues with him just totally destroying your plants?? I've found my carp digs them up from the roots.
I got my guy on NLS. Might need 2 add some massivore to the mix

No he doesn't outright destroy any of his plants. I have micro swords, wisteria, amazon swords and anacharis and he just snacks on the anacharis every once in awhile. He doesn't even acknowledge the others.
As far as the Massivore goes he loves it. Maybe that's what keeps him fat dumb and happy and easy on the plants. Lol

Update: Dude is a little over 6" now and he's just getting over a little brief bout with Internal Parasites. I got the drop on it at the first sign of clear poo and reduced appetite. Treated the water directly with Kent "Garlic Xtreme" and changed his NLS to TherA+ and added Epsom salt as well. Appetite is coming back and he's getting back to his normal attitude. Anyway, here are a couple pics I took a couple hours ago

Thanks Maddylyn. My 2 put on size really fast, especially my female who has been in my 240 since she was 3". She's now about 7" and it's only been around 3 months. This male doesn't have the size that his sister does but his colors and attitude are great.
I'm sure yours will grow out quick as long as they have a good diet and frequent water changes.
