This is Nessie the Weeksii (WC), came in at 7".

Still had its external gills at that stage

Interesting if you look closely even at this stage still had little stubs where external gills were.

Here it is probably a year after the picture above and it really has not grown much probably still in the 13" range. Here she is with my 16" endli

Another shot of the two of them hanging out

Dont know why but for some reason the weeksii is one of the few polys in my tank that it will tolerate. An occasional nip at it but will let it hang out with him while the koliba and teugelsi are not tolerated.

Not a 'monster' yet but I love my weeksii.

Bought both of these cb endli at a real skinny 2.5-3" or maybe smaller April 2014. Those juvenile pics of them was when they were 5-6" the following month half.

Now:
Semi Short Body 13-13.5"
Polypterus sp. Gigalo 18"

Was your old ornate cb or wc ?

I can't say for sure, when I picked it up the mass of CB ornates really had made their way up here. One thing with it that I don't see in common CB ornates was its body profile. Many CB ornates have quite a taper from their head to their tail. My ornate was thick like a tube all the way to the tail end.

Without getting too off topic, did you keep that AT Datnoid in freshwater its whole life?

Yes. This is my third attempt on silver dat biggest thus far (8/9") My other 2 started to have swimming issues like they normally do at around 4-5" . Think there's better success if it's caught from an India rather than Thailand.
