my IT has grown about 1.5" since i got him in December

It all depends on your feeding schedule, and just as important, water changes.

I grew a 1" IT to 6" in eleven months and he wasnt even my fastest growing one, but I sold the others when they were still under 2".

My NTT grew from 12-13" in about 6 months.

I had an 2" IT for 4 months in a 300l tank and it hasn't grow at all, I feed it everyday with small feeder fishes and do 3" of water change everyday.

mine grew like 1.5-2.5" in less than six months,.......... they eat mainly market shrimp now,.......... use to feed them silver sides, frozen squid, night crawler, smelt, fish fillet,..........
