Hi guys, I’ve had my Microlepis for 9 years now, since it was about 2.5 inches. Recently I noticed a small blotchy growth just above his Gill. I didn’t think much of it at first, but it began to grow. It’s now really grown, an looking like a lot of little bubbles pertruding out of his gills. It’s getting larger now in the last few days.

mice treated with eSHa 2000, then eSHa Gdex an now eSHa hexamita. The first 2 don’t seem to have worked an the third I only started today. I’ve tried to add sone pics below although they’re not always so clear sorry. Any help on what this might be would be massively appreciated. He’s like part of the family now this guy, don’t want anything to happen to him.

You can see the growth rate from the pics, that’s been over a space of about 10 days. He’s still quite stable, an he’s still eating.6C47482B-185D-43A7-BB5B-30607EA765AC.jpeg

Although there is a lot of reflection in the photos I can just make out what you are referring to on your dat.I used to see stuff like that appear on thinbar/NTT dats but I don't recall seeing any on indos and I am not sure what the ailment is or how to treat it.Sorry I can't be of any more help.

Hard to make out from the pics but it reminds me of lymhocytosis, though I didn’t realize this was something that affected dats. If it is lymphocytocis, which is caused by a chronic viral infection, the good news is that while it’s unsightly it’s generally benign.

Hi, here are some new pics. A lot more clear, you can really see the bubbling effect in these. Thanks in advance for any help

I sure hope that you can save that otherwise impressive looking dat,is it's bars symmetrical?

Not symetrical now. However I do really like the bars he has on one side. They kind of go to an upside down V. Really distinguished him I think. You can see both sides from below, guess they would be symmetrical besides that.

Yep we call them fork bars and dats with such markings, forks on both sides are a particular favorite of mine.I have had and currently have a few of them.

Only just realised how good that pic is of him looking straight at us. That one really shows how symmetrical he is besides the fork bar
