Yeah there more than rare here. I've only seen them one time ever and grabbed all of them.

I got eight 1.5" baby IT's in October 2007. I kept three that converted to pellets, one died and sold four of them that would only eat shrimp. Ok so in a year and three months, they grew from 1.5" to 9", 8.5" and one is only 7.5". I measured them with a ruler while moving them to a different tank last week.

you pick up the IT's around here or order them?

I got them at Dallas North Aquarium and have never seen them since.

Richard (Snakebite22) said he might have a vendor, he was going to check last time I was there.

Growth rate will also depend on your filtration and water changes.

Picked up my Indo Tiger September 08. He was 4 1/2 inches at the time and has grown to almost 7 inches as of now. I have him in a 75 gal filter with a 29 gal wet dry sump. His diet consist of market shrimp, beef heart,cut fish, dry krill, and hikari arowana pellets.

lookin good i have an ehiem 2217 on my tank and i do WC every 4 days....
