growth rate of Brachyplatystoma juruense

Juruense are a great cat, growth rate is all be it slow, but they have their growth spurts. 1" per 1-2 months is not uncommon. They have varying patterns, and are a docile, keep to themselves catfish.

Well, Jurus have a growth rate of about 1" per month depending on what U feed them I fed mine goldfish and everytime he will stuff himself while getting perched on top of my DW They are very nice specimens to keep especially if u get one with clear symmetrical bars

Actually Jurense are very nice looking cats and not as delicate or expensive as the Tig.

local lfs has a 3 or 4 inch tig for 60 bucks hmmmm should i jump on it. but dont forget ima lhave lizards in the cage eventualy.

another question do u think a 4 to 5 inch lima shovlenose would eat a 3 inch jurense? local store has a lima for 13 bucks . Nothing local has jurense i got one store left to call tomorow to see if they gotem. if not looks like im probly gonna order one from snook

i don't thing the lima would eat the jur. i had the same mix. till my gars obbsetion with bullheads and eatting them took over and it went after my jur then my lima. killed them both.
