Growth Rate of GT?

i got a 2 inch GT 2 days ago, can't wait until he looks like quattroatl's, will a 6 inch GT be OK in a 30 gallon by him self?? he is not in there at the moment, only cos i like him so much and my 30 gallon in my room so i can see him a lot more? (he's in my 60 at pres)

I would keep him in the 60. He will grow faster in a larger tank. He'd be ok in the 30 for a while, but the 60 is definitely better. It's easier to have better water quality in a larger tank.

I got my three Gold Saum's in June last year, they were about 2". I got rid of two in November, the one I kept is +/- 5" TL now but the growth rate has definitely slowed down.
