I was just wondering how long it would take until my catfish get to be 6 inches. They are 2 inches now.

And also, what should I feed them. I keep finding info on what the ADULTS eat. I need to know what they eat at 2 inches.

They eat everything from sinking pellets to market shrimp. I feed mine brine, pellets, krill and anything the cichlids don't get. if you have them in a tank w/ other fish, you might want to feed at night to make sure they get enough. They will eat a lot and the bellies will show.

They take a couple of years to get this big..mine are about 6 inches ..i would feed blood worms and small cichlid pellets and small cat fish sinking pellets ..

If I were to feed them market shrimp, would I have to grind it up first?

This makes me wonder what my synos really are. I bought them as eupterus, but they grew to 6"+ in around 6 months, and lost all of their markings.

Mine is half & half. lol. That joke would probably have been better if I was talking about a cowfish. I'll post some pictures once I get my webcam to work.
