The more dats the better...in any schools, there will be a pack leader, but with more dats, there will be little to no aggression.

I'd disagree on the aro (especially an asian) eating the dat/s, dats are tough as hell! as you can notice there are hardly no threads where dats are eaten. I wouldn't put one with a giant snakehead or a rtc or something like that but they they seriously double in size when they flare their spine and they have an ego 10 times that size.

they will probably fight a bit to establish dominance if 3 or more but nothing serious.. 2 can beat eachother senseless..

I put a link in a pm for you with pics of the dats you can get ahold of here in Sweden..

Very nice fishes! I've mines in a few days. In Belgium it's easy to obtain dats.
I bought four jongs in "M" size (maybe 15 cm). They will go in my 800L tank with motoro, hystrix stingray and silver arow.

I have kept many large Asian Arowana with many small fish tigers included

If you are getting a small aro try to get the tigers 1st put them in the tank about a week before you put the aro in

Tigers Do GROW FAST up to 6-7 inch then slow down to about 1-2 inch per year

The trick is to mix the aro with lots of diffentent small fish from young tin foil barbs silver dollars this will stop him attacking other fish when he gets bigger

As for the dats I would get as 5 indos and one dat cambelli the cambelli will be the boss and may stop the rest fighting

What ever you do don't leave the aro in the tank on his own for any amount of time or then if you add one or two fish later he will attack them

A big aro with small tigers is no problem I have had a 24 inch Asian aro in with 4 inch tigers with no problems

Just picked up a Indo that was bought at 2inches and is now 16.5-17inches(tape measured) in just 4years. All depends on how you take care of them.
