Nice score!!

It might not be a bad idea until you can get a feel for how tenacious of an eater he is. To be honest, I've never had a problem with them trying to eat my clown pleco or my RTC/TSN (even when he was at the 3" mark).

But check out the threads below...that's where my concern comes from. :D

yeah, scary threads. I know that fish don't "like" each other, but how do yours treat each other? The 9 incher has been living by himself, and the 3 smaller ones have been together for a while

They are actually inseperable...buddies. They had one little squable over a piece of jumbo shrimp, but that was it. They actually pile on top of my rtc/tsn and all 3 of them just sit there...one big fatso pile. :D

now i can't wait to get them :D

Cool one of those threads are mine helping inform the public thru my mistakes. I got my gulpers about the same time as kenyansandboa they are about 5-6" now. Gulpers can acclimate to catfish I think. All the cats I keep with them have never been attacked. This includes 2 3" woodcats and a 6" juruense. My gulpers will bite each other but only mock fights over food. I said it in another thread I think a gulpers natural prey are streamlined mid to upperlevel fish. So I think cats are safe with them. They don't even pay attention to the other cats and stingrays in the tank even when I had starved them to get them to accept market shrimp. However now that they eat market shrimp mine will literally turn upside down to get a piece that's on the substrate. It's a pretty cool sight as the really look clumsy doing so. They just aren't suited to bottom feeding.

yeah like a high strung little asian guy with a cam screamming 3 feet 3 feet jk lol
