just subtrate,and a ac 500,the lady said he kept stingrays.dont kno what species tho,but the tank was caked with algae.
like i said guys i just ordered a 2 inch redtail for 60 bucks,it should be here by thursday.but do i have to worry about some cichlids picking on it,or should i put it by itself at that size.
IME......i have 2 RTC....they do good with cichlid that are bigger then the cats. the growth rate of cats varies from fish to fish. when i got mine they were 3'' then in four months grew to 16''. a 75 gal would hold the cats for 2 months. your 180 should be good for the year. and make sure that you have lot of filtration and do a lot of water changes.
