Hey everyone, quick question. really looking into doing motoros. Ive done a lot of reading on them all over the internet, Ive read through the stickys. But haven't really read anything on growth rate. Ive already read on suggested tank sizes and everything. Im JUST wondering on how fast they grow if fed properly. I will be getting a female at around 5", im just wondering how fast should i expect her to grow?

I only have Motoro and Hystrix. The Hystrix are not growing as fast, which is to be expected as they max out at a much smaller size.
ok great thank you. i think im ready to purchase that was really the only other thing i haven't read on. Although something i have read on i have another question about. Whats the best way in opinions to transfer her into the tank. I was planning on doing wut the stickys say as far as a slow drip from the tank to the water she comes in. But Ive been told the old, place the bag in the tank is fine also?
I did the drip system the other day when we got ours,i did a good hour and a half and then put the bag in and they swam out.

My female motoro was 5-6" exactly 3 years ago now is 17-18" however my male was the same size at the same time and now he might be 11"..
I have had luck with just dumping them straight out of the bag or a slow drip.. But a slow drip could raise the ammonia in the bag...
