you can try hikari lionhead sinking pellets they work and that are good for small poly

That's true, but they are expensive. For the same price as a small bag of lionhead, I can get the large bag of cichlid gold sinking, and it's just as small.

Lol, seeing as I already have the sinking carnivore and bought hbh super soft krill, I'm just gonna keep on using that. They've been taking to it pretty well, just super messy! Oh well, daily water changes are a good thing...

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. My two senegals were eating fine, taking pellets and whatever I threw at them with gusto. Ever since I got my delhezi (which is about twice their size I think), the whole group has sort of stopped eating. When I throw pellets down, they don't seem very interested at all, and the two senegals don't eagerly chomp it down like before. What is going on?

I've had two senegals for about a week now, and have been feeding them blood worms about twice a day, but its very expensive because I got the blood worms in the Hikari cubed packaging, and the two bichirs are too small to eat a whole cube, or even half, so I've had to drop some in the bichir tank, and distribute the rest to other tanks. I've just started feeding pellets today (this morning) and was wondering if it would negatively impact their growth (ie: do bloodworms make them grow faster, or do pellets?). I want to switch to pellets as main food (for ease and cost) and bloodworms as treats. Is that a good idea, or should I stick to feeding non pellet food?

use Hikari Lionhead the sinking kind there good for small bichirs:D
