Ok, I have a 55 gallon tank. I'n moving everything to a 125 and I was in the middle of moving lace rock outside to toothbrush clean. My mom wanted to help so i gave her the toothbrush. She went and got a big-arse brush and sprayed the rock with lysol and started scrubbin away.
After freaking out on her i have finally cooled down.
This was my favorite piece of lace rock. Is there ANY way to save the rock. I threw it out but my mom insists of trying to fix it. any ideas to remove the wicked lysol cleaning product? or is the rock dead? with any of these ideas I was going to put the rock in a 10gallon tank and throw in a betta fish to test it before putting it in with my 50+ dollar peacock cichlids
Lesson learned: dont let fish noobs help with ANYTHING!
