nah i had him for a month now..and i just got done treating him for ick..and its all gone..and his feces isnt white nor stringy ..i dont know maybe hes just stubborn..

i was thinking of starving him then try again.....i guess imma have to wait and see

there is another way, if you goto drsfosterandsmith.com there is a thing called the garlic extreme. its a dietary suppliment that helps boost metabolism. i used it on my datnoids when i was active in the hobby and datnoids are known for the most pickiest eaters. by using some of that i got most of my datnoids to eat pellets. if it worked for datnoids then chances are it will work for flowerhorns. that garlic stuff is like fish crack. if you also wanna go low budget goto the market and they have garlic juice available its the same thing as the garlic extreme so get that soak whatever your feeding your fish and test it out.

He will eventually eat them.. keep trying...I have had fish take 2 weeks to accept the pellets......if he looks like he is starving, give him a dose of guppies then try the pellets again.
