Damn, in the future if you do not already have a little salt in the water and you get a jumper a small ammount of salt helps gill function.
If you don't already have a cover for your tank(s) you should get one.
It cuts down on evaporation and keeps the fish in the tank when they jump, and you can assume that all fish will eventually jump!

I had one. I guess he just jumped out in the small gap between the filter and hood or heater and hood.
