So Iv noticed my pbb 17"is a grumpy Scrooge .... But last night I saw him grab the koliba 16" and hold on for a good 15 sec without letting go ... This is the second time iv caught him do that 1st was to my Nigerian lap 14" not to mention the countless other times iv saw him just bite or nip at em
Is ther anything I can do to appease his attitude? This is first time iv seen a bichir this grumpy ... My old endli was grumpy but nothin like this .... And it's not like terrortorial cause it's always in a diff spot of the tank not like under the log he likes when others come to close ... Also he is WELL FED!!!!!!! Can't stress enough how well fed he is lol ....pig lol ....I'm just worried he gonna get ahold of my smaller 9" ones and do done damage ... He does no damage to the larger guys he been grabbing .. But the little ones I afraid he might .... So any suggestions to stop the attitude would be appreciated :) sry for this bein so long lol

Keep him fat and make sure everyone has some spot to hide out and take cover. My PBB isn't exactly a bundle of sunshine either so be realistic with your expectations...they're never going to be as docile as an upper jaw

he still giving the congi a hard time? i could always hang on to him for you til the pbb calms down

and to actually contribute something to the conversation i would definitely try and add a couple more hiding spots for the pbb to get away from others to or smaller ones for your little guys to hide that he wont be able to bother them

Well my tank isn't exactly big enough for more hideing spots and majority of many pols r to big to get under stuff to hide ... The smaller ones do have hideing places they can get in tho... Witch is prob y I haven't seen him bother any of them .... It's the bigger ones he goes after .... And as far as keeping him fat ... Trust me I do ... He eats at least 3X the amount of everyone else in the tank .... And it's not like a 24/7 thing where he just constantly is a ass .... It's just randomly .... He is the only one in the whole tank that is even the slightest bit aggressive and 9 of the 12 r lower jaw

Aggression isn't ways because of a specific spot in the tank or not being fed enough. It may also be because of stress. I'd imagine with all you recent adds it's getting a little crowded. What size tank do you have them all in? I had tons of aggressions before I upgraded to my 280

That could be y it is a little crowded doin 2 50% wc a week lol but if crowded is the issue how come the bv endli I had was aggressive? Cause the tank deff wasn't crowded bak then .... Pbb could just naturally be aggressive .... Cause even Tho it is crowded he is the only one who is aggressive everyone else is calm as calm could be ..... Like ppl have said on other things it could just be the individual fishes personality ... I was just curious if there was anything that would calm him
