Also, angels are super fragile. Every time I have had angels some always die. They get stressed real easily I think.

While some of us may have generalize red devils and most cichlids as not suitable with angels, please do bear in mind cichlids have various personalities so do not expect to predict how it will exactly behave towards your other fish. Furthermore, everyone is entitled to their own experiences and opinions. Mileage varies. The only large cichlids in question here are GTs, JDs and RDs. While I agree with your statement, not all angels are tough enough to tolerate various water conditions. Black angels are one example that are quite delicate and are not recommended for beginners.Trikkymak, angels are not fragile at all. far from it. they are tougher than most people think.
