GT bit the dust!!

Sooooooooo pissed!! my fav fish just up and died,he was fine yesterday and then today all of a sudden he went into a spiral started breathing heavy by late today he was gone all other fish are fine con,fm,silver dollars, he was the dominate fish to now the tank is in battle mode.The con and firemouth are going at it.Dam going to miss him he was the peace maker.

Water parameters all stable? Usually they're pretty hardy fish. But sorry for you loss, I've also lost a GT, and am currently losing my second one..

yea,im not sure about gts,but this reminds me of problems i had awhile back with texas cichlids,i remember someone saying that texas need some plant matter in there diet i wonder if this was true with gts.

Hey bigriver sorry for your loss. i just recently lost my female GS I think I was feeding her too much Protein with not enough plant matter but she was the top of the tank on her last leg when My cat jumped up on the desk where the tank is and nabbed her. I found her half eaten with my cat running away.
