i feed mine everything...such as hikari cichlid gold and oceans nutritians omni formula flakes...on every 3 days while inbetween that i feed my fish Brine shrimp, Blood worms, and mysis shrimp...and my green terror isn't that bad(although i bought her at petco so she has some HITH)the pic doesn't do her justice.

trust me my GT had no colors (bad genes). i fed him hikari gold but during the first week of feeding him spirulina, his green came out all over his body. now hes really green but he wont be like the ones that are naturally super green. you dont gotta worry about the orange on teh dorsal fin.

I'm sorry, I'm calling BS on this one.

Green color is NOT influenced by diet in fish. Blue/green is based on LIGHTING.

Orange IS based on diet however.


I feed mine Omega One, krill, shrimp, earthworms, and superworms. When he was smaller I also fed brine shrimp, blood worms and mysis shrimp instead of krill.
