Gt fry, one month old.

I have no idea how soon is normal. Their mom was really drab looking at 1 1/2-2" when I bought her, but she colored up fast after that. And Oliver was very colorful at 2". The other two at the fish shop I got him at were 1" and just starting to show a little color. Nothing like he was though.

This is the only one that is showing a lot of body color. The others mostly just have blue showing on their faces and a hint on some fins.

This will likely be the last update on these guys.

The biggest fry have hit 2" total length now. They will be going to new homes hopefully over the next week.


It's been so fun watching them grow. I'd be sad to see them leave if it wasn't for the 35-40 more I'm making room for. Lol

I know I said I wouldn't update anymore, but my buyers keep falling through. So the little guys are still with me.
I decided to get individual pictures today. And would love some feed back.
I am almost 100% positive the top left is a male. It looks just like Oliver(father) did at that size. And the top left looks like it might be the dominant female in the group. It looks more like Greenie did as a fry. The lower three I have no clue.
