These two successfully bred thru the eggcrate divider. Didn't want to ruin the male's fin as he's going to be a future show specimen.

Yeah, the babies from that pair are going to be amazing. I hope they get the fathers tail and the others jaw pattern. That would be insane!!! :headbang2

Thanks for the compliment, he has grown a lot since he is the dominant male in the group of GT's.

Sadly though, he killed my super red sev last month (I was very pissed about that) and now he almost killed my 8"TL blue dempsey, but I saved it and put it in my QT for now.

Thanks

She's from a big hump line so I'm pretty excited about this breeding. Haven't bred any cichlids for 5-6 yrs now as it's really hard to find homes for New World cichlids around here. Almost everyone locally owns African cichlids instead.

Wow that sucks about the red severum, they are pretty rare as I have never seen any for sell locally or the net for while now. Might be time to get your GT his own tank.

Truly, an incredible pair!!

I posted some recent shots of mine in the photo lounge. Here they are again. Not really growing in length right now, just getting a little thicker:
