GT & Gold/White Saum pic thread

PNWFisherman, nice white saum! I love the tail, very wide.

I'm looking for a female for mine so I can spawn them and make them more available.

They're not that common around here in SoCal.

Yeah me too, my stock has always changed over the years but I've almost always had a gold saum. The white saum has been a 'holy grail' kind of fish for me.

Thanks for the heads up bro, I'll check with Rapps, if he has a similar sized female when i have a breeding tank ready.

Excellent. An excuse to put up a pic of my male. Only had him a couple of months. He was in a bit of a state when I got him, undernourished, full of worms and hardly eating. But I've managed to get him clean, healthy and eating like a pig, as he should be ! He's starting to fill out now, although I would like to see that continue.
Such a character too ! About 6.5" at the moment. His most notable feature it probably his superb dorsal and anal fin trailers.

Here is my little guy. Got him about a month ago at 1 inch. he is now about 2 1/2 inches and has some color coming through. Im assuming he is a male as he has a little bump starting to come through on his head plus his color is pretty good.

here my recue gold saum. only have had him a week. he was preety beat up but now he starting to pull through and fins are heeling very slowly.

I just recently replaced my rd with a new baby gt! cant wait till he is bigger!Great Saums everyone! amazing fish!
Hes in a tank with plecos a lima shovel nose cat, some silver dollars and some other random fish haha
