This is my new Gold Saum. Absolutely the most stunning specimen I've ever seen in person. Someone brought him in to the LFS where I work and I just couldn't resist. I personally really wanted a Silver Saum but this guy was so stunning I couldn't pass it up. He's around 7 inches, or so. Sorry it's a lousy picture. Took it with a cell phone.

His eyes aren't cloudy at all I just accidentaly hit him with the flash.

Silver Saum male. The female isn't quite ready for her close up yet, maybe another day.

Unfortunately mine died due to a defective Visitherm Stealth heater... However he was always my favorite fish, kept in a tank alone with a trio of Clown Loaches.

When I first got him from Petsmart he looked like this:

Can't wait to set up a new tank with another guy to grow out!
