This is my other GT of the 2 I have.This one is only 5" but has a better head and colouration than my 8".This one also has double the attitude.He won't back down where as the 8" GT is happy to just cruise around.

Gorgeous! Are they in the same tank? If they are, do you have problems with fin nipping?

Genetics is the only way to get one that has the looks of the fish in your avatar. Some GT's have better coloring than others due to their family genes, because of that, fish dealers like to cop out and label them "royals" to get as much $$$ as they possibly can.
Alot of people will disaggree with me and thats cool. But I bet the majority of them are the ones that spent the money for a royal
ok after seening everyones pics i decided my little guy wasnt big enough so i went shopping the first place i went they had this guy about 7-8"
